Faith Life

Faith isn’t just a subject at Wauwatosa Lutheran—it’s the foundation of our entire school community. From the youngest learners to 8th graders preparing for high school, students are reminded daily that they are loved by God and meant to live with purpose.

Faith in Daily Life

  • Weekly chapel services bring our whole school together in worship.
  • Religion classes throughout the week deepen understanding of Scripture and God’s promises.
  • Biblical learning is integrated into every subject, connecting academics with Christian values.
  • Service-learning opportunities each quarter encourage students to put their faith into action.
  • Family groups (3K–8th grade) build community across ages and create strong mentorship bonds.
  • Students are anchored in unchanging values that prepare them for a lifetime of purpose.

Our Church Connection

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is our greatest partner and supporter. Founded in 1931, the church has a long tradition of championing Lutheran education and continues to invest deeply in the mission of our school.

  • Many members are graduates of WeTeachTruth schools and remain influential leaders in the LCMS community.
  • The church provides prayer, financial support, and volunteer leadership that strengthens our ministry.
  • Together, church and school create a vibrant, Christ-centered community where families feel connected and supported.
